  Ordered our meals, which they had messed up lite steak and traditional steak both had incorrect sides and sauces, informed the waitress who said she would fix it.
  
  On the way back past my wife asked are you just going to swap them over she said no cooking fresh ones within 3 minutes our meals arrived clearly swapped over and washed as we could still see the remains of the sauce.
  
  Meaning the traditional steak of mine was now a lite steak and my wife now had mine.
  
  Informed the waiter we would not be requiring our meals and left. Won’t be eating there again.

  The staff were very attentive. Our server Will has got to be the best wait staff I've ever experienced. His proactive to help was very appreciated. Well done in the hiring of Will. An asset to the business

  Visited for lunch on a Sunday, and the restaurant was not busy. We had great customer service, and enjoyed the great live music.
  
  My partner had a sirloin steak medium rare and I had a rump steak medium. Her steak was on point, very tender, full of flavour, and well plated. The rump was also very tasty and well cooked, but the quality of the meet was not that good. Hog's is famous for tender steaks, and this time, even though it was well cooked, my steak was very chewy.
  
  The sides were very good, some creamy smashed potatoes, and fresh salad. If you enjoy hot and flavourful sauces, try the Byron Bay spicy sauce.

  We had lunch at the cafe on the first day of our arrival at Gold coast. We were really hungry and most restaurants were not accepting dine in without booking. But Hogs breath was wide open and lady who served us was very cheerful and happy to help. The food was amazing as well. Coundn't ask for more. Very happy with the service, keep it up.

  Came here for the usual aged steak which hogs breath is well known for but got told the machine was broken so we ordered the tex mex loaded fries and the brisket burger. The loaded fries were a joke. They came out with a few tiny pieces of meat and a couple of small bits of guac and sour cream. Called one of the staff members over who apologised and gave us an extra tub of guac to compensate. I may as well have just ordered fries with sauce. The beef brisket burger was a rip off. Tiny piece of brisket on a massive bit of turkish bread. Staff were hopeless, missed our drinks, didn't bother refilling water and then there was a huge stuff up at the end when it was time to pay the bill. Won't be back to hogs breath ever again thanks to this one. Terrible experience and a waste of money.

  Order the ribs, they were soft and came off the bone no problem but the BBQ sauce tasted bitter, like they've bought the cheapest sauce they could find which ruined the meal.
  Also ordered a steak with the calamari's both were soft and easy to cut not a problem but the mushroom sauce was watery and barely tasted like mushroom sauce
  I'm not saying the meats are no good they are but the sauces they provide taste terrible and therefore I am not eating there again
